Counsellor Directory
This innovative membership service serves to promote business information about your counselling practice, specialized services and skills as well as the ability to upload a profile picture and business logo. With futurist trends heading towards a generation that seeks information online as well as a specific set of skills, knowledge and experience, the CPCA believes this directory will provide a competitive edge for marketing our member's counselling services across Canada to the public, insurance providers, EAP contractors and government for verification of your legitimacy. All members who are in "good standing" will be approved to list their contact information in the directory on an annual basis. It allows our members to login to their directory listing once it has been approved and make any changes to their contact information.

Description
Stacey approaches counselling as a collaborative endeavour, with you in the pilot seat and her as your co-pilot. As such, she sees you as the expert in your own life with many strengths, skills and wisdom to bring to the table. She sees herself as a fellow traveler in life with a unique set of skills in noticing, supporting, and navigating emotional and psychological challenges. Working together, she aims to support you to access your inner resources, utilize your external resources, and add to your resources. Her goal is to support you in reaching your goals by helping you understand, appreciate, and support yourself.
Stacey's counselling approach pulls from several modalities and theories including behavioural, psychodynamic, and humanistic. Primarily, she works from an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) modality. ACT focuses on building the capacity to be with our emotions, connect to our values, and take committed action toward living a life of personal meaning.
